About Avery

Hello! My name is Avery, and I am excited to be a part of the Lifetime of Love Nannies family! I have grown up loving children, even when I was one of them. I used to ask my mom for “mommy lessons” when I was young, and she took the opportunity to have me do dishes and other household chores because “that’s what mommies do.” These early experiences helped me develop a deep respect and understanding of the responsibility and work that goes into nurturing a child’s emotional and physical growth. Since then, I have always had a passion for working with children. I love fostering a safe and fun environment where they can learn, grow, and explore. I encourage children to engage in creative and active pursuits and truly enjoy participating in these activities alongside them. I have eight years of childcare experience, including work as a summer camp counselor, art class assistant at Michael’s, on-call nanny, and babysitter/nanny for family and friends. I have cared for children from infancy to 11 years old, creating engaging, nurturing environments tailored to their needs. My approach to childcare focuses on providing a fun, safe, and stimulating space where children can thrive. I prioritize open communication with parents to ensure my care aligns with their values and routines. Outside of childcare, I enjoy painting, hiking, reading, and writing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Professional and Creative Writing from Central Washington University, with the goal of becoming a published author and freelance editor. I also love animals and have two dogs and a cat. My family consists of my mom, dad, and my little sister, who is my best friend. I look forward to meeting your family!

My goal with the children and as a caregiver is to nurture them, and make them feel loved and safe at all times in my care. My mother calls me the kid magnet because children cling to me and I love it. Education is important to me, so learning time is very special as well as having playtime with the children because kids learn through play. About Celina

Hi there, I’m Celina — a born-and-raised Nevadan, married to my best friend, and dog mom to two golden retrievers. Nurturing has always been part of who I am. As an eldest sibling, I was blessed to partake in raising my younger brother — he calls me his “Sister-mom.” My husband on the other hand says I’m “a mom to everybody.” I carry that same tenderness into my day-to-day life. With over five years of professional experience caring for children of all ages, I’ve found that my heart is most at home with newborns and infants. Those early days are tender, overwhelming, and incredibly special — and I show up with intuition, love, confidence, and attentive care. From soothing sleepy cries to recognizing subtle needs, I offer steady support so you can rest, recover, and feel held too. My goal is to support not just your baby, but you — so you feel seen, supported, and never alone in the journey. My experience includes caring for children with special needs, and I approach every child with empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to meeting them exactly where they are. I'm CPR, SIDS, and Crisis Counselor certified. When your child is in my care, I offer them more than supervision — I offer calmness, safety, playfullness, and connection. I care for them the way I imagine I’ll one day care for my own. Outside of caregiving, I’m usually curled up with a good book, journaling, talking to my houseplants, or pouring my heart into things that matter to me; such as, mental health awareness and crisis intervention. A quote I live by: “Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” – Tony Robbins My favorite book: "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, making music with friends, and attending cultural events such as powwows, craft fairs, and parades. About Jenri

Hello, my name is Jenri. Let me tell you a little about me; I am the oldest sibling of 3, the oldest cousin of 12, the most Amazing Ah-tay (Aunt) to 6 and former Foster Mom of 8. With over 20+ years of childcare experience; not just watching my own family members, but been given the responsibility and earning trust from being a nanny/babysitter to 3 different families and being a temporary foster mom with Foster Kinship, I have experience in working with children ranging from 4 weeks to 17 years. In addition to childcare responsibilities, I also help with light housekeeping, homework, and meal preps. In my younger years caregiving has been a part of my day-to-day. So I turned to volunteering at my sisters daycare in high school; my duties were to prep a diaper station and potty station when needed and clean the playroom when parents came for pick-up. I became the neighborhood weekend babysitter. When I was in college I moved to NC and became a nanny to a family of a 4 year old and 2 year old. I was with them for 2.5 years. After nannying I became an After School Teacher; watched a class of 20 children that ranged from 1st grade to 5th grade students and helped with homework. When I moved back to Las Vegas, NV, I volunteered at Central Church every Saturday and rotated from class to class watching children during service, and went to service on Sundays. In 2015; my husband and I became a temporary foster home to 3 toddlers for 50 weeks, they were 2 year old twins and a 15 month old. Happy to say they have been fully adopted by their Aunt. In 2021, my husband and I became temporary foster parents to a family of 5 that ranged in ages of 8 months-17 years old for 41 weeks. They too have been fully adopted by family. I am truly blessed to see children grow and thrive.

About Kaia

Hi! My name is Kaia, I have a passion for childcare and I can’t wait to have the experience of working with Lifetime of Love Nannies. I’ve always had a passion for working with children. As the oldest of seven cousins, all under the age of four, I’ve naturally taken on a caregiving role from a young age. With each new addition to our family, my desire to work in childcare has only grown. Being part of a child’s world is truly special, and it’s an honor to support their learning, growth, and play. My inspiration to become a nanny came from my best friend, who has been nannying in Tahoe for the past year. Hearing how much she loves her job made me reflect on my own experiences babysitting and how much joy I find in caring for children. Becoming a nanny felt like a natural step. It allows me to combine my nurturing nature with a sense of responsibility, patience, and a strong commitment to creating a safe, engaging environment for every child I care for. I have six years of childcare experience, beginning in 2019 when I started babysitting for family friends. In 2020, I began caring for younger members of my own family, and by 2022, I was receiving recommendations from relatives to families in my community. In 2024, I had the opportunity to work at Jefferson Elementary School in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, which further strengthened my skills and passion for working with children. I’ve cared for kids ranging in age from 6 months to 10 years old. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a strong love for arts and crafts. In addition to creative projects, I enjoy leading outdoor games and activities, playing children’s songs on the guitar, and incorporating educational games and crafts into playtime. I aim to keep kids engaged in fun, enriching experiences that support their development. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, finding and trying healthy recipes and traveling! I am currently enrolled to Western Nevada College in Carson City with a Pre-Nursing major. After WNC I plan on furthering my education to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. My approach to childcare focuses on creating a fun, safe environment where children can learn, grow, and build lasting memories. I’m committed to helping children thrive while also fostering strong, positive connections with their parents.

Hello! My name is Lesli, and I'm currently living in Reno but I'm originally from Las Vegas. I'm a student at UNR studying Criminal Justice and Spanish, and I will be graduating this year and will be taking some time off of school to work with the community in Reno. In my future career, I want to work with young children, and this is one of the many reasons why I'm so excited to work with Lifetime of Love Nannies! I've always had a passion for childcare because you can truly see children grow in a multitude of ways. Whenever there's a new baby in my family, I'm always jumping for joy; there's really no greater addition to the family than new babies. I have most of my professional experience with children 2-6 years old, but I've also cared for infant children from a few months old to a year old. As the oldest daughter of four, I've been responsible for my siblings from the time they were born to 10 years old. As a mentor with Upward Bound, I have experience with tutoring and mentoring in many subjects, so I'd be happy to help your kiddos with homework and studying! I love to spend time doing arts and crafts with kids and also playing sports with them, even though I'm not very good. It's a priority for me to follow the guardian's rules for their children while also providing a fun and safe experience for the kids. Outside of childcare, I enjoy crocheting, embroidery, listening to podcasts, and going to the gym. About Lillian

Hi! My name is Lillian, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Lifetime of Love Nannies team! I’ve always had a passion for working with young children — whether it was tutoring, playing with them, or eventually babysitting as I got older. I have over four years of experience in childcare, including private babysitting and volunteering with RAVE during high school. I’ve cared for children ranging from ages 2 to 13. I love keeping kids engaged with stimulating and fun activities, from arts and crafts to playing outdoors and even teaching basic sports if they’re interested! I also enjoy introducing them to new board games and encouraging creative and active play. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors — especially hiking, and occasionally kayaking. I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Reno, where I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Immunology with a minor in Psychology. My ultimate goal is to attend medical school and become a doctor. My approach to childcare is centered on creating a safe, warm, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I’m committed to supporting both the child and their family while upholding the high standards set by Lifetime of Love Nannies. I always strive to ensure every child feels happy, engaged, and secure under my care.

About Lilly

Hello, my name is Lilly! I’m really excited for the opportunity to provide care for your family! I have 5 years of experience working with children ages 1 years old up to school aged in a childcare capacity. My love for children has grown through my experience with being a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. I am currently attending UNR striving for my bachelor's degree in psychology! My pursuit and fascination of psychology has also provided me with a strong knowledge on child development. I've also shaped my skills and understanding for children through hands on experience with my own family and their children. I find it very rewarding to work with them. They help me stay in touch with my own inner child! I love how imaginative they are and how smart they are. I believe children are so smart and capable when we give them the space to be. I enjoy making genuine connections with kids and I am passionate about creating a positive impact and nurturing environment for them. I consider myself to be a grounded, patient and empathetic caregiver. I believe in providing kids the space and safety to show up as their full selves and express themselves. I believe in being good examples to our children. They look up to us and see how we treat ourselves, others, and how we cope and show up in the world. I believe in instilling positive habits and coping skills for children. Such as emotional regulation and self awareness. My interests include being musical on the piano, reading true crime or wisdom books. I love being creative with cooking! I enjoy yoga and meditation. I am very passionate about personal development and spirituality. I also love spending time out in nature with my curious little dog (he's a toy fox terrier). I am also currently learning Spanish as a second language. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

About Lydia

Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m an undergraduate student at UNR studying biology, and am excited to join Lifetime of Love Nannies! I’ve always had an interest in childcare and adolescence development, especially from having siblings. While I don’t have professional childcare experience, I do have a lot of personal experience in childcare. Since my brothers were born I acted as a primary caretaker, for two children from the ages of 0 to 9. I also have a variety of education in development of adolescence and in basic life support. When nannying I’d love to take them to do fun outdoor activities if permitted, such as hikes and going to a park. I also love doing arts and crafts, and could definitely help educationally with tutoring or playing games. In my free time, I love hiking, going to the gym, cooking, and traveling. I am fluent in only English. On a final note, I’ll strive to provide a safe and fun environment when nannying. I would love to have open communication with the parents to make sure I’m meeting expectations and providing the best experience for the kids I can!

About Makayla

Hello! My name is Makayla, but I go by Kayla. I come from a big, fun, and loving family with four siblings and lots of cousins, nieces, and nephews. From a young age, I was always drawn to helping care for the babies in my family. As I got older, I realized how much I truly enjoyed watching children learn new words, develop new skills, and grow into their own unique personalities. I’ve worked in childcare for about seven years, and I’ve been a private nanny for nearly four. I’m especially passionate about working with newborns and hope to become a doula one day, supporting mothers through one of the most beautiful and challenging times in their lives. While I love caring for infants, I have experience with children of all ages, from newborns to 12 years old. I’ve also cared for children with autism, type 1 diabetes, and in households with up to four kids. I’m fun, outgoing, and love building meaningful connections with the children I care for. I encourage age-appropriate developmental growth and always structure care based on the parents’ goals and expectation while staying flexible when it comes to daily activities and outdoor play. I believe it’s important for toddlers and older children to spend time outside regularly and have a routine that works for their individual needs. Rather than using time-outs or raising my voice, I focus on creating space for children to work through their emotions and learn healthy ways to express them. I value open communication with parents and strive to follow their boundaries and expectations so that my presence feels like a seamless extension of their home. In my free time, I love being with my family, spending time outdoors: running, hiking, or working out with friends. I also enjoy watching movies, coloring, crafting, and cooking. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

About Sara

Hi, my name is Sara. I have been babysitting/nannying for over 10 years. It started when I was about 11-12 years old helping a neighbor with her 4 children; the youngest was a newborn and her oldest was about 6. I babysat for them for years, then eventually nannying them. I helped prepare meals for the kids at night for dinner as well as meals for lunch the next day for school. That family is the reason I fell in love with nannying. I absolutely love newborns, they were my first experience into night nannying. After them I had 2 others families I had worked for recently, one last year up until he was 3 months old; then another just recently as of a few months ago. I worked as their night nanny, helped with bottles, and also mom was breastfeeding. One accomplishment I’m proud of is I got the baby girl to start sleeping through that night at around 3 months old! When I’m not nannying, I love to hangout with my family and my best friends. I love going to movies, or even staying in with friends/ family to watch movies. I absolutely love traveling! I can’t wait to meet you, as well as your children!

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am thrilled to be part of the Lifetime of Love Nannies team. Working with children is a true passion of mine—they are amazing in so many ways! I love supporting their growth, helping them learn, and witnessing the wonder of their discoveries. I have been working with children for about four years and have loved every moment of it. During this time, I have worked as a swim instructor for children of all ages, from 11 months to 18 years old, and have also provided childcare to many of my swim students. Teaching swimming is one of my favorite activities because it provides children with a lifelong skill and builds their confidence in the water. I also enjoy drawing with kids, as it’s always inspiring to see their creativity and personalities shine. Another favorite activity of mine is building Legos—I love seeing ideas come to life! Throughout my career, I’ve worked with private swim coach companies and an indoor swim school in Las Vegas. These experiences have helped me develop strong teaching skills and a deep connection to working with children. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, traveling, shopping, and volunteering at horse camps, which I find incredibly rewarding. I am also learning French and Spanish and appreciate the joy of exploring new cultures. I am so excited to bring my passion and experience to your family and look forward to meeting you soon!

With over 20 years of experience and currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education at Truckee Meadows Community College, I’m constantly learning new ways to enrich the lives of the children I care for. Childcare, to me, is so much more than supervision—it's about nurturing their growth, supporting their emotions, and crafting a loving environment where they can truly thrive. I bring energy, compassion, and dedication to every day on the job, ensuring that each child feels valued and respected. Whether I'm designing creative, educational activities that spark curiosity or collaborating with parents to tailor care to each child's unique needs, I’m all about making every moment count. I believe that all children deserve a warm, safe, and inclusive space to grow, explore, and just be themselves. When I'm not working, you'll find me embracing the great outdoors and diving into water sports, which is one of my absolute favorite ways to have fun. I can't wait to meet you and your family!

Our family finds joy in a variety of activities including arts, crafts, spending time with animals, diving into good books, solving puzzles, and exploring through geocaching adventures. I will be celebrating my 2-year anniversary as a nanny with L.O.L.N. come September of this year! With years of experience in childcare, from newborns to school-aged children, I've mastered tasks like potty training, diaper changes, meal prep, transportation, and engaging in educational activities. But beyond these, my focus is always on showering children with love and care. Childcare has always been my passion, and I bring a laid-back, easygoing approach to it. Creating a serene and comfortable environment is my goal, ensuring the little ones feel at ease and peaceful. I've encountered various situations in childcare, including working with a baby who is autistic and deaf, where my knowledge of baby sign language proved invaluable. I believe in adapting to different circumstances with a calm demeanor, just as I did when teaching my own children baby sign language during their early years. I'm excited about the opportunity to meet you and provide top-notch care for your children. Let's create a nurturing environment together!

About Tamara

Hi! My name is Tamara. I’m a nurturing, dependable, and energetic caregiver with over 35 years of experience working with children—from newborns to school-aged kids. My passion lies in creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive. I’m CPR, First Aid and SIDS certified and happy to support families with light housekeeping, homework help, and maintaining daily routines. Families often describe me as reliable, joyful, and deeply patient. My love for childcare began early. At just 9 years old, I started babysitting, and by age 11, I was confidently caring for newborn twins. Since then, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings—including as a nanny in private homes, in daycare centers, preschools, church nurseries, and developmental programs. In high school, I volunteered with children with special needs and at a community college child development center, both of which hired me on after my summer programs ended. These experiences solidified my belief that nurturing and teaching children is not just my career—it’s my calling. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development (Early Care and Development) from California State University, Sacramento, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I also earned an associate’s degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Child Development from American River College, consistently making the Dean’s List and graduating with a 3.8 GPA. My education has given me a strong foundation in early childhood development and the importance of meaningful interactions—even with the youngest infants. I believe every moment with a child is a learning opportunity. I love engaging with them through arts and crafts, sensory play, story time, outdoor adventures, and educational games that support growth while keeping things fun. I enjoy helping children build confidence, independence, and joy in learning. Outside of my work as a caregiver, I enjoy hiking, swimming, camping, and creating personalized crafts using my Cricut machine. I bring that same creativity and enthusiasm into the care I provide every day. I speak English fluently and also know some Spanish and American Sign Language. Caring for children has always come naturally to me, and after decades of doing what I love, it continues to bring me deep fulfillment. My goal is to be a consistent, loving presence for the families I support—and to help every child in my care feel safe, valued, and inspired to discover the world around them. I look forward to meeting you!

About Toby

Hello! My name is Toby, and I am excited to be apart of the Lifetime of Love Nannies team. I'm thrilled to meet new families and children! Ever since I was at the age of being babysat myself, I have loved kids. My purpose in life is to be a mom, and so in the meantime, I love watching kids and providing them with a loving, supportive environment in which they can be themselves. Professionally, I have been a babysitter and nanny for around three years. However, before that, I would watch family friends' kids and volunteer in my church's nursery. I have always been the designated baby watcher at parties, work events, and other gatherings. I have worked with newborns up to younger school-age children. My favorite activity with the children I watch is anything outdoors. Nature provides so much entertainment for a young mind, and letting them roam free with supervision is my go-to approach. If the weather is not permitting, drawing or coloring is always a fun way to express feelings and creativity. Outside of childcare, I enjoy hiking, drawing, reading fantasy novels, sunbathing at the beach or a pool, and cooking. I graduated from high school early at the age of 16, and have since been studying social work at the University of Nevada, Reno. In my future career, I want to work with children of all ages to help them understand the complicated feelings of growing up and all the factors that can affect their mental health. I have taken multiple courses about development, both physical and cognitive. My method with childcare is to be there to supervise, but these little humans know exactly what they want to do, should be doing, and how to do it. I only want to encourage and foster their growing minds, giving them a safe and free space to be themselves. I wouldn't call it hands-off or hands-on; it's more about holding their hand as they discover the world around them.
